Autotag installs like any other Revit add-in. The installer writes to your Revit add-in folder; after installation, you'll see a Bimrock tab in the ribbon.

- Revit 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026
- Windows 10/11 (64-bit)
- Internet connection for license activation
Installation
- Download the installer from bimrock.ai -click Start Free Trial
- Run the installer and select which Revit versions to install for
- Restart Revit if it was open -the Bimrock tab appears after launch
Activation
In the Bimrock tab, click Account and sign in with your Bimrock credentials. Your license activates automatically if you have a valid subscription.
Verifying Installation
After installation, confirm these items:
- Bimrock tab visible in the ribbon
- Profiles, Tagging, and Arrange panels present
- Active Profile dropdown shows a Bimrock default profile (HVAC or Plumbing)
- Account button shows your signed-in status
Updates
Autotag checks for updates automatically. When available, a notification appears in the Bimrock ribbon. Click to download and install; restart Revit to complete the update.
Troubleshooting
Bimrock tab not appearing
Check Revit's Add-Ins tab for loading errors. If Autotag failed to load, ensure you restarted Revit after installation and installed for the correct Revit version. Re-running the installer usually resolves this.
Sign-in issues
Verify your credentials work at app.bimrock.ai. If you recently changed your password, use the new one. License validation requires an internet connection.
